The high point on this route is Cabuçu Waterfall, with a drop of about 10 meters, a natural water slide falling onto an enormous rock, forming a natural pool. On the way, visitors need to cross crystal-clear streams.
Natural beauty
Large trees mark the path, which offers a variety of native plants and flowers, as well as birds and other small animals. For researchers of fauna and flora, the Rio de Areia Trail is a treasure map. The route runs alongside clear, shallow, and transparent waters, forming small coves where it is common to find animal footprints amidst a profusion of ferns, vines, and bromeliads.

History
The farm is a historical landmark for the Baixada Santista region. During the colonization period, the place served as a shelter for the Society of Jesus, which established a catechism post for the indigenous people there. In the first half of the last century, the region was occupied by large banana plantations, whose produce was transported by wagons to the vicinity of the Cabuçu River, and from there, by boat, to the Santos Municipal Market.
